Youth Sport
Within the scope of youth sport the Department carries out tasks aiming at providing sport skilled youth with optimal sport training conditions and increasing their sport achievements with the purpose to prepare them to represent the country in international competition, both in youth categories and in further Olympic perspective.
The training takes place through Polish sport associations, which support public and private schools of sport championship, youth sport training centres and voivodeship interdisciplinary sport associations, which train the so called voivodeship teams in the junior and sub junior categories.
In addition it supervises sport competition in 4 age categories: sub junior, younger junior, junior and young competitor and organizes and finances the finals of the All-Poland Youth Olympics in the category of younger junior.
